As Automatisierungstechnik Niemeier GmbH, located in Berlin, we develop, produce and distribute components, systems and software for electronics manufacturing. This includes soldering technology and soldering robots as well as the complete dispensing technology and machines for SMT production. Further product areas are soldering systems for the production of solar modules as well as heating with induction and thermode systems.
ATN was founded in 1996 from the Production Technology Center Berlin (PTZ) of the Technical University of Berlin. Today, ATN has 40 employees. The ATN team is characterized by a high knowledge of processes and applications. The necessary know-how in the areas of application soldering, construction, control development and construction as well as programming is available for processing the tasks.
As an innovative company, product developments are carried out in close cooperation with universities and Fraunhofer institutes. ATN also gives young, dynamic students the opportunity to get to know everyday industrial life in practice-oriented work and in this way to actively contribute their knowledge to our company or even to start their career with us after graduation. Thus, ATN invests a significant portion of its annual revenue in research and development.
In 2018, ATN was nominated for the Innovation Award Berlin-Brandenburg 2018 and received the Distributor Award from MUSASHI Engineering EUROPE. In electronics manufacturing, ATN has established itself as the market leader for selective light soldering with the LightBeam light soldering system. The modular soldering system VARIO offers the ideal platform for the realization of a wide range of soldering processes. Thus, ATN has about 15 standardized soldering tools from light soldering to laser, induction and piston soldering. Customers are electronics producers with serial to large-scale production such as automotive suppliers as well as manufacturers of electronic components and electrical products. The customers of our dispensing technology are also companies in the optoelectronic industry and medical technology.
In the business field of soldering and handling systems for the production of solar modules, ATN is one of the market leaders worldwide for automated soldering of edge interconnection with more than 300 induction soldering systems.
In order to meet our high requirements in terms of quality and technical know-how, we cooperate exclusively with partners who have extensive expertise in this field.
In the field of dispensing technology we cooperate with the Japanese specialist Musashi-Engineering. ATN is an authorized sales and service partner for Musashi and guarantees customer-oriented support in Germany. With their intelligent and patented pressure-time dispensing systems and the unique jet dispensing technology, Musashi is the worldwide technology leader in the field of dispensing technology.
In the field of induction heating we cooperate with the market leader CEIA. The CEIA company has been producing high and medium frequency generators with high energy efficiency at minimal operating costs for more than 30 years. The uniqueness of the applied technological solutions enables the production of extremely compact devices with the highest energetic efficiency and durable reliability. ATN is an authorized sales and service partner for CEIA and ensures customer-oriented support in Germany.
In the field of thermode systems we cooperate with the Japanese manufacturer NIPPON AVIONICS CO., LTD. ATN is an authorized sales and service partner in Germany. AVIO has many years of experience in the field of joining technology and is therefore our competent partner for thermode systems and resistance welding.
